The Chapel House was built in the early 1900’it is a substantial Lutyens style country house with tasteful well-designed bedrooms arranged over three floors. The house was described by its former owner as a “doll’s house” and it has retained much of its charm having been sympathetically converted to a Care Home in 1987 by the Moore family. The Chapel House has to stand up to the “Mum’s test” every minute of the day! Would I want my loved one to live here? Everyone plays an important part in our Family member’s day i.e. those that live at The Chapel House. Everyone who lives, works & visits here is a valued and special individual and is made welcome.
We pride ourselves on our ability to meet needs in a kind, compassionate, caring, fun and safe environment. Our role is to enrich life, promote wellbeing and ensure that our family members are sensitively supported, working with their relatives to help support them in an inclusive and open environment. We have continued to upgrade our home extensively over the last two years and we hope the house looks inviting and relaxed. We are committed to further reinvest in the home as with anyone’s own home the house needs love and attention. Household members can enjoy a variety of moments that enrich their life, our home is full of things to do and people to connect with. If you would like an informal chat & visit with our Registered Manager Kim Dawson to arrange this please ring 0151 3362323 for an appointment.
