Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s can lead to social isolation for a variety of reasons; our care team understand the complexities of Parkinson’s disease and the effects on the individual with; Parkinson’s affects everyone in different ways

We can offer a safe, stimulating environment which is important for people with Parkinson’s.

Our Ageless Grace exercise sessions can be really helpful with joint pain and pain and stiffness

We provide a person-centred approach to caring for a person with Parkinson’s. This means focusing on our Service Users needs as an individual and ensuring that their life is not defined by the condition. We ensure we focus on what our Service Users can do, not what they can’t do. Our team are here to enable our Service Users promoting independence, but offer them extra help when things aren’t going so well. Our care plan will always be Parkinson’s-friendly and reflects the fluctuations in abilities and wellbeing that the individual will experience, with lots of room for regular change in support.

We are focused on the needs of every individual; we can provide an environment that is suitable for social contact with the appropriate level of stimulation, rest and activity based on the individual’s needs. Our care team appreciate the difficulties Parkinson’s can pose to every aspect of daily life.
